83-007 ORD ORDINANCE 83-7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 800.04 - LICENSE APPLICATION - OF THE CITY'S CODE OF ORDINANCES The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section 800.04 of the City's Code of Ordinances, titled "License Applications" be amended to read as follows: 1. Liability Insurance - Prior to the issuance of a non-intoxicating malt liquor license, the applicant shall file with the City Administrator as follows: ' (a) A certificate that there is in effect an insurance policy or pool providing the following minimum coverages; (1) $50,000 because of bodily injury to anyone person in anyone occurrence, and, subject to the limit for one person, in the amount of $100,000 because of bodily injury to two or more per- sons in anyone occurrence, and in the amount of $10,000 because of injury to or destruction of property of others in anyone occurrence. (2) '$50,000 for loss of means of support of anyone person in any one occurrence, and, subject to the limit for one person, $100,000 for loss of means of support of two or more persons in anyone occurrence; or (b) A bond of a surety company with minimum coverages as provided in clause (a), or (c) A certificate of the state treasurer that the licensee has deposited with him $100,000 in cash or securities which may legally be purchased by savings banks or for trust funds having a market value of $100,000. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the date of its publication. Passed and adopted this 18th day of April , 1983.
