84-002 ORD ORDINANCE 84-2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 722.00 - DEFINITIONS, SUB. 2, AND SECTION 722.04 - LICENSE APPLICATION, SUB. 11, SUB. D The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section 722.00, titled "Definitions, Sub. 2, of the Elk River City Code of Ordinances shall be amended to read as follows: 2. "Hawker" and "peddler" shall mean any person with no fixed place of dealing in this City who travels around from place to place, or street to street carrying or transporting goods, wares, and merchandise, offering the same for sale or making sales and delivering articles to purchasers. Section 2. That Section 722.04, titled "License Application", Sub. 11, Sub. D, of the Elk River City Code of Ordinances shall be amended to read as follows: d. A statement as to whether or not the applicant, any officer, director or partner of the applicant, or any agent or employee of the applicant who will be employed by or transacting business on behalf of the applicant in the City of Elk River, has b~en convicted of any crime, misdemeanor, or violation of any municipal ordinance, the nature of the offense and the punishment or penalty assessed therefor. Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the date of its publication.
