DISCUSSION:
In the last 30 days, the level two charger located downtown had 16 sessions and
provided customers with 60 kWh of green energy. The DC fast charger at the Coborn’s
fuel station had 68sessions and provided72kWh. The charger in the ERMU/City Hall
parking lot had11sessions and provided customers with 125kWh. There was a totalof
95 charging sessions and257 kWh of energy provided over the last 30days.
The National Drive Electric Week (NDEW)event is scheduled for September 30 at the Elk
River Farmers Market. Currently there are 5 volunteers registered that are willing to
come and share their knowledge, experiences, and EVs with the public. Cornerstone
Auto will be brining EVs to test drive and information about the different vehicles.

ERMU staff presented to 140 commercial real estate agents at the 8Annual Minnesota
Real Estate Journals Energy Summit. The session provided information on energy
efficiency technology, the emerging trends in electrification for transportation and
heating, as well as water conservation.
ERMU staff continue to explore options for the operation of the landfill gas electric
generation facility after the contract end date of October 2022.
ERMU continues to work with a commercial customer on their transition from
transmission service to the ERMU distribution system. The transition is scheduled to
occur the week of September 20.
Staff has been working with a commercial customer that has concerns with being
moved to the Demand Customer class after exceeding the 50-kW threshold during the
July billing period. This is the second time the customer has been moved to the Demand
Rate, the first being during the September 2019 billing period.
