ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
May 3, 1884
Proceedings of the Board of Supervisors of the Town of Elk River in the County of Sherburne and
State of Minnesota, convened for the transaction of business pertaining to Roads, this third (3rd)
day of May A.D. 1884.
Board met at the office of the Town Clerk.
Present: D.R. Houlton, Chairman. B__ Mabic, John H F(alch?)
Malkson Road
And proceeded to view the road partitions for by Grs. Malkson and others.
After viewing the same and its appearing to the board that notices of hearing had been duly posted
in the (three?) public places of said town and it further appearing the board, by the affidavit of Grs.
Malkson that copies of the notice of hearing has been served on the occupants of the land through
which said road would pass, it was voted that a road be located and laid out according to the ___of
said petition.
It was, on motion voted to employ the county surveyor to survey the said road and on said survey to
follow the present traveled __ except two changes which will be shown them by same member of
the board.
Eddy Road
On motion the viewing and consideration of the road petitioned for by Wm. H. Eddy and others
was postponed to Saturday, May 17, 1884.
Adjourned to Saturday May 17, 1884.
