Adopt, by motion, a resolution accepting donations to the police department from various groups and
organizations.
Background/Discussion
From July 1, 2021, through September 30, 2021, the Police Department has received donations from groups and
organizations totaling $2,280. The intent of the donations is listed on the attached spreadsheet labeled Exhibit A.

Resolution 21-68
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received $2,280 in donations from various groups and
members of the community with the intent it be used by the police department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend all donors listed in Exhibit A for their
contributions.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
and duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
