ORDINANCE 87- 16
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1008.16 - EASEMENTS
~ The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 1008.16 of the City of Elk River
Code of Ordinance titled, "Easements" be amended to read as
follows:
1. Provide for Utilities. Easements at least twelve (12)
feet wide, centered on rear and other lot lines, shall be
provided for utilities where necessary; if appropriate,
easements of lesser width may be allowed by the City,
particularly easements along front lot lines. They shall
have continuity of alignment from block to block,. No
fences, other structures, or plantings other than grass can
be placed in a utility easement.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after the date of its publication.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of March, 1987.
