ORDINANCE 87-18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF ELK RIVER ZONING MAP
TO ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1B TO R-2B AND R-3
.
The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows:
Section 1. The duly adopted Zoning Map of the City of Elk River is
hereby amended to zone the property described as:
PARCEL A (north)
That part of the Southwest Quarter of
Township 33, Range 26, Sherburne
northeasterly of the centerline of
lies north of the following described
the Southeast Quarter of Section 28
County, Minnesota, that lies
County State Aid Highway No.1; and
line:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter; thence north along the East line thereof for 1131.00
feet to the actual Point of Beginning of the line to be hereby
described; thence westerly to terminate at a point on the West line of
said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 1126.60
feet north of the Southwest corner thereof.

Subject to that part taken for said County State Aid Highway No. lover
and across the westerly 60 feet thereof as measured at right angles to
siad centerline. Also subject to that part taken for County Road No. 77,
also known as Proctor Avenue, over and across the East 33 feet thereof.
Also subject to that part taken for easements to United Power
Association, and to Northern Natural Gas Company. Also subject to other
easements of record, if any;
from R-1B/Single Family Residential to R-2b/Multi Family Residential.
Section 2. That the duly adopted Zoning Map of the City of Elk River
be further amended to zone the property described as:
PARCEL B (south)
That part of the

northeasterly of
lies south of the
Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section
Range 26, Sherburne County, Minnesota, that lies
the centerline of County State Aid Highway No. 1 and
following described line:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter; thence north along the East line thereof for 1131.00
feet to the actual Point of Beginning of the line to be hereby
described; thence westerly to terminate at a point on the West line of
said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 1126.60
feet north of the Southwest corner thereof.
