ORDINANCE 87- 30 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION 204.08 EMPOWERING THE COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER TO ISSUE PARKING TICKETS The City Council of the City of Elk River ordains as follows: Section 1. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Elk River is hereby amended by the addition of the following Section 204.08. 204.08 - Community Service Officer. In addition to the other duties and obligations assigned to the Community Service Officer, the Community Service Officer shall have the power and authority to issue parking tickets and citations for violations of Code of Ordinances Sections 1100.10, 1100.12 and 1100.16. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon publication according to law. Done at a regular meeting of the Elk River City Council this 21st day of September, 1987.
