A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Authorizing a
Transfer from the Liquor Fund to the Capital Reserve Fund
WHEREAS, The liquor store profits are utilized to provide additional support for other
City services and capital needs.
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed the request and determined it to be a sound
financial practice.
WHEREAS, It has been determined the Liquor fund will provide grant match funding for
the purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus equipment for the fire department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: The transfer of $251,394.46 from the Liquor fund to the
( Capital Reserve fund.
