Resolution 21-68
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received $2,280 in donations from various groups and
members of the community with the intent it be used by the police department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend all donors listed in Exhibit A for their
contributions.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Westgaard and duly seconded by Councilmember Wagner, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Dietz Councilmembers Christianson
Bever, Westgaaard. and Wagner and the following against: None, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson, Bever.
WesWard, and Wagner and the following absent: None
Passed and adopted this 4t' day of October 2021.
