I, Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Furniture and Things
Community Event Center Advisory Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by
Chair Williams.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Commissioner Jacob Peterson and seconded by Commissioner
Matthew Westgaard to approve the July 1, Furniture and Things Community
Event Center Advisory Commission Agenda. Motion carried 5-0.
3. Consider Minutes
3.1 Consider 05/06/2021 Regular Meeting Minutes
Moved by Commissioner Jim Hecker and seconded by Commissioner Kara
Walker to approve the following May 6, Furniture and Things Community
Event Center Advisory Commission Minutes. Motion carried 5-0.
4. Open Forum
Jack Lorge,19490 Lowell St. NW, issued the following:
Jack stated his concerns and frustrations with the Senior Activity Center and
pickleball courts.

6. Discussion Items
6.1 HGA Process and Timeline
Mr. Dalton discussed with the Advisory Commission the beginning process for
HGA. Commissioners decided to create a Task Force with HGA. Mr. Dalton will
propose to HGA the first meeting be Thursday, June 29.

8. Superintendent Updates
Mr. Dalton presented his report. Brief update of what has been going on with the
FTCENTER.

There being no further business, Chair Williams adjourned the meeting of the
Furniture and Things Community Event Center Advisory Commission at 7:45 p.m.
