Adopt, by motion, a resolution accepting donation from the Zimmerman Fire Relief Association to the Elk River
Fire Department.
Background/Discussion
The Elk River Fire Department received a check for $2,500 from the Zimmerman Fire Relief. The Zimmerman Fire
Relief operates a pull tab booth located in Elk River and this donation is from those collections.

A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organization, and
individuals for their contributions to the community, and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $2,500 donation from the Zimmerman Fire
Relief Association with the intent it be used by the Elk River Fire Department for rescue
equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: to acknowledge the support and commend the Zimmerman
Fire Relief Association for their donation.
Passed and adopted this 151h day of November 2021.
