I . Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President Tveite.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
3. Consider Agenda
Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner
Christianson to approve the agenda.
Motion carried 6-0.
4. Consider Consent Agenda
Moved by Commissioner Hartwig and seconded by Commissioner Westgaard
to approve the following consent agenda:
4.1 September 20, 2021, Minutes.
4.2 Check register as outlined in the staff report.
4.3 Balance sheet as outlined in the staff report.
4.4 Revenue/expenditure report as outlined in the staff report.
Motion carried 6-0.

6. Public Hearings
There were no public hearing items.
7.1 Marketing Update
Ms. Eddy presented the staff report.
7.2 General Update
Mr. O'Neil presented the staff report.

Commissioner Blesener asked whether the Harvest Hills building was considering
expanding to property for sale to the west of their current site.
Mr. O'Neil stated that the Harvest Hills building occupies the north half of the lot
allowing for expansion in the south without additional property.
Commissioner Blesener asked about the timeline of the Saxon property
development.
Mr. O'Neil stated that there are supply chain delays and progress may have to wait
until spring.
Commissioner Christianson asked if companies who submit Requests for
Information (RFIs) give feedback if a property is not selected for development.
Mr. O'Neil explained that it depends on the project and how far the property has
made it in the selection process. The EDA always has an opportunity to ask for
feedback.
Commissioners thanked Ms. Eddy for her work on the EDA Committee and wished
her well in her new job.
8. Adjournment
There being no further business, President Tveite adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Economic Development Authority at 5:46 p.m.
