1. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Furniture and Things
Community Event Center Advisory Commission was called to order at 6:33 p.m. by
Chair Williams.
2. Consider Agenda
Chair Williams added Item 6.2 Review Temporary Concession Arrangement for
High School Games.
Chair Williams added item 7.2 Nonprofit Rates.
Moved by Commissioner Matthew Westgaard and seconded by
Commissioner Jacob Peterson to approve the November 4, Multipurpose
Facility Advisory Commission Agenda. Motion carried 8-0.
3. Consider Minutes
3.1 Consider 07/01/2021 Regular Meeting Minutes
Moved by Commissioner Jim Hecker and seconded by Commissioner Greg
Loidolt to approve the following July 1, Multipurpose Facility Advisory
Commission Minutes. Motion carried 8-0.
3.2 Consider 08/03/2021 Special Meeting Minutes
Moved by Commissioner Jacob Peterson and seconded by Commissioner
Kara Walker to approve the following August 3, Multipurpose Facility
Advisory Commission Minutes. Motion carried 8-0.

5. Presentations
5.1 Introduction of Assistant Facility Supervisory – Billy Hunter
Mr. Dalton welcomed the new Assistant Facility Supervisor to the Advisory
Commission.
6. Discussion Items
6.1 Review Multipurpose Advisory Commission Meeting Schedule
Mr. Dalton discussed with the Advisory Commission the possibility of adjusting the
future Multipurpose Advisory Commission Meeting Schedule.
6.2 Review HGA Branding Taskforce Results
Mr. Dalton discussed with the Advisory Commission the end process of HGA along
with the taskforce group.
6.3 Review Temporary Concession Arrangement for High School Games
Chair Williams discussed with the Advisory Commission the Temporary Concession
Arrangement for High School Games with the Multipurpose Advisory Commission.
7. Action Items
7.1 Senior Activity Center 2022 Fees and Guidelines
Natalie Anderson presented with the Advisory Commission the Membership and
Policy changes that will be brought to the seniors in 2022.
Moved by Commissioner Michael Cunningham and seconded by
Commissioner Greg Loidolt to approve the following, Senior Activity Center
2022 Fees and Guidelines. Motion carried 7-0.
7.2 Nonprofit Rates
Dave Williams presented to the Advisory Commission to discuss the option of
Furniture and Things Community Event Center Advisory Commission Minutes

adding or declining nonprofit rates to the fee schedule. The commission members
were not in favor of creating nonprofit rental rates for the FTCenter.
Moved by Commissioner Jacob Peterson and seconded by Commissioner Jim
Hecker to approve the following, No Nonprofit Rates. Motion carried 7-0.
8. Superintendent Updates
Mr. Dalton presented his report. Brief update of what has been going on with the
FTCenter.
9. Announcements
No announcements.
10. Adjournment
There being no further business, Chair Williams adjourned the meeting of the
Furniture and Things Community Event Center Advisory Commission at 8:10 p.m.
