Action Requested
Discuss park pavilion, shelter, and facility fees for 2022.
Approve, by motion, the park pavilion, shelter, and facility fees.
Background/Discussion
The Commission reviewed the proposed fees at a work session in November. Consensus was to accept the
proposed fee structure, increasing the fees for Lions and Orono Park shelters to $35 for residents and $55 for
nonresidents.
The Trott Brook Barn rates were also discussed since they have not been updated in nearly 20 years. The
consensus was to charge nonprofit groups the same rate as resident/non-resident instead of free to promote
the Furniture and Things Community Event Center meeting spaces for organizations who consistently need
space monthly.
Financial Impact
Potential Fee increases and deposits should protect our park assets.
