DISCUSSION:
• The auditors from Abdo will be performing preliminary audit work on January 11 on site.
Typically, preliminary audit work involves inventory observations, accounts payable
testing, and a review of the year's meeting minutes. The 2021 audit field work is
scheduled for March 3-4, which will be done remote.
• On November 29, Theresa and I met with Delano Municipal Utilities to discuss our
financial and budgeting process as their CFO retired earlier this year and they do not
currently have this role filled.
• On December 13, Shakopee Public Utilities will be visiting to have ERMU staff
demonstrate and answer questions regarding our National Information Solutions
Cooperative software as they are currently in the process of selecting a new vendor.
