Approve, by motion, a closed meeting for Monday, December 20, immediately following the regular City Council
meeting.
Approve, by motion, a special meeting for January 3, 2022, 6:00 p.m. for advisory board interviews.
Background/Discussion
State law requires closed union meetings to be called by motion of the Council. Council is asked to call a closed
meeting per MN Statute 13D.03 to review and discuss labor negotiation proposals and consider negotiation
strategies for the Police Captain Union, LELS Local 501.
Per the Advisory Board Policy, Council will host special meetings prior to regular meetings to interview advisory
groups. The January 3 meeting will have candidates for the Planning Commission and the Multipurpose Facility
Advisory Commission.
