Action Requested
Approve, by motion, the hiring of Ryan Vadnais to the position of accountant effective January 10, 2022.
Background/Discussion
Following the resignation of Kim Doglio, we went to market to fill this position. We received 39 applications and
offered interviews to seven candidates. Based on two interviews and background and reference checks, we
recommend Ryan Vadnais for this position.
Mr. Vadnais holds a master’s degree in accountancy and has been working in the auditing field since 2015. Mr.
Vadnais will start at step A of pay grade 7E. All pay and benefits will be consistent with city policy.
Financial Impact
This is a budgeted position.
