Background/Discussion
Staff will use this time to update the board on relevant topics. One topic is highlighted below:
Natures Edge III progress—as acquisition of the property and utilities construction is anticipated early in 2022,we
have received inquiries from multiple parties interested in acquiring the property for development. Staff
recommends having a work session with the EDA in January to discuss pricing and other items related to marketing
the site for development.

Support Elk River's existing businesses through relationship building,programmatic offerings, and high-quality city
services. Attract new business development to Elk River to build the City's economic vibrancy, job offerings and
tax base.
