Action Requested
Approve by motion, the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission meeting calendar for 2022.
Background/Discussion
Per state law, a schedule of meetings must be kept on file with the city clerk’s office and posted on the city’s
bulletin board.
Per Section 2-254 of City Code, the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission is required to have their meeting
schedule approved by Council. At their last meeting the commission reviewed their schedule and approved 6:30
p.m. of the second Monday of each month.
Since the Advisory Commission meeting, it was noted there is a conflict with the Council’s Board of Appeal
meeting scheduled for Monday, April 11. Staff recommends moving the Advisory Commission meeting to
Tuesday, April 12. This change will be brought to the commission’s attention.

Meetings are generally held at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center.
