NONDEMANDELECTRICSERVICERATE Available:WithinElkRiverMunicipalUtilities(ERMU)establishedserviceterritory. Applicable:Availablefornonresidentialcustomeraccounts.ExistingornewCustomeraccountswith actualorprojecteddemandsoflessthan50kWfortheprevious12consecutivemonthsifapplicable. WhentheCustomerachievesanactualmaximumdemandof50kWorgreater,theCustomerwillbe placedontheDemandElectricServicerateinthenextbillingcycle.TheCustomeraccountsshallbein compliancewithallpolicies,procedures,andsafetyrequirements,andshallbetakenthroughone meter.Ratingofindividualsinglephasemotorsandothersinglephasepowerandheatingunitsserved underthisscheduleshallnotexceedten(10)horsepower(or7.355kW)exceptbyspecialpermission. FluctuatingLoads:Customersoperatingequipmenthavingahighlyfluctuatingorlargeinstantaneous demand,suchasweldersandXraymachines,shallberequiredtopayallnonbettermentcostsof isolatingtheloadfromthebalanceof9wa ƭlines.Nomotorlargerthanten(10)HP(or7.355kW)will beallowedtobeacrossthelinestartedwithoutnotificationandwrittenauthorizationfromERMU.In addition,Customerswhofailtoprovideadequatecorrectiveequipmentshallberequiredtoownand maintaintheirowntransformers.
