Applicable:Tosinglefamilyresidences,nondemandanddemandcustomersreceivingserviceunder anotherrate,whoaddasecondmeterforanyofthefollowingcontrolledloads: GroundSourceHeatPumpRate:ThisProgramisavailabletoresidentialandcommercialcustomers.A groundsourceheatpump(GSHP)isacentralheatingand/orcoolingsystemforresidentiallivingspaces orcommercialworkspaces.ResidentiallivingspaceswillmeetalltheapplicableMinnesotastate buildingcodes.CommercialstructuresthatareclassifiedasUtilityandMiscellaneousGroupUbythe InternationalCodeCouncilarenoteligibleforthisrate.Thisprogramisavailabletoresidentialor commercialcustomerswithaGSHPastheirsoleheatsource.GSHPsthatqualifyforthisprogramwill notbeinterrupted.AGSHPpairedwithanotherheatingsourcesuchasnaturalgas,fueloil,orpropane mayqualifyfortheDualFuelprogram. Toqualifyforthespecialrate,thecustomershallprovide: 1. TheGSHPistheonlyheatsource.OnlyclosedloopGSHPsareeligibleforthisratebeginning January1,2016. 2. InspectionbyaStatecertifiedelectricalinspectorandarepresentativeofERMU. ERMUshallprovide: 1. Allelectricenergyconsumedbytheprimaryelectricheatingsystemat$0.09360954perkWh. 2. Ametersockettoaccommodatethemeterinamutuallyagreedtolocation. 3. Ametertomeasureelectricityconsumedbytheelectricheatingsystem. RatesaresubjecttoapplicationofPowerCostAdjustment(PCA).
