DISCUSSION:
We interviewed applicants for the Customer Service Manager position the week of
December 13. We extended two offers however both applicantsdeclined. We are
interviewingthree more applicants the week of January 3, and on January12 will be
bringing two back for a “meet and greet” with some managers and the customerservice
team prior to extending an offer. We are also interviewing four applicants for the
Journey Lineworker position during the week of January 3.
Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association’s Technical & Operations Conference was
rescheduled for January 18-20 in St. Cloud. I will be attending with several of the field
managers.
We received a letter from the Minnesota Department of Commerce stating they are
participating in the Regional Indicators Initiative (RII) “to enable local governments
statewide to use community-wide energy, travel, and emissions data for comprehensive
energy planning.” We will be contacted to provide information for this initiative along
with approximately 30 other investor-owned, cooperative, and municipal utilities from
