All underground line that has been installed this past year for the Highway 169 Redefine

overhead wire along the east and west sides of Highway169 this winter. Underground
installation work will begin again at a few locations in the spring of 2022.
Crews energized the new field service building transformer and finished the new
underground primary loop around the houses near the plant. Crews will be tearing
down the overhead wire across from the plant that runs along Main Street and goes up
to Highway 10.

Crews are performing annual maintenance on equipment as time allows.
Crews worked with the meter shop to de-energize Station 14 Bank 4 and replace the
substation metering equipment. Crews also noticed that the jumpers off of the
substation transformerneeded to be replaced.
There were relatively few outages in the month of December. Some streetlights were
struck by vehicles during snow events, but nothing more serious.
I am working on putting together the crew schedule to attend the upcoming Minnesota
Municipal Utilities Association trainings for 2022. Personnel usually attend one training
annually on a rotating basis to catch a different topic each year.
