Background/Discussion The Street Maintenance Division requests authorization to proceed with equipment replacement for the listed pieces of equipment approved in the 2022 Equipment Replacement Fund. All equipment purchases will be made utilizing current state contract pricing from multiple vendors. The replacement of Unit 240 was budgeted for $265,000 and Unit 318 for $230,000. All existing equipment will be sold at auction with the auction proceeds returning to the Fleet Replacement Fund. Financial Impact $348,024 from the Equipment Replacement Fund, all purchases are funded in the 2022 budget. Mission/Policy/Goal Replacement of this equipment will help to ensure a sustainable city fleet and continue to provide exceptional service in the areas of streets and parks.
