Mayor Dietz and Council to recognize the completion of the required probationary period for new firefighters and
for Mayor Dietz to present the oath of office to our newest members of the fire department.
Background/Discussion
Newly hired firefighters are placed into the fire academy and once they have graduated they serve an additional six
months of probation before becoming full-fledged firefighters for the City of Elk River.
Firefighters, O’Connor, Hooper, Hampton, and Yess have displayed the character and skills required to be part of
the Elk River Fire Department.
