DISCUSSION:
The winter edition of the Current newsletter, which is focused on communicatingdetails
of the 2022 rates and PCAs, will be going out to all customers with their bills in February.
Although the newsletter is going out a month later than usual, the timing was
intentionalto coincidewiththe first billing withthe new rates.
JanuaryandFebruarysocial media posts will feature a variety of topics including:
availability of 2022 recycling calendars, promotion of the Recycle Coach app, common
energy wasting habits, National Squirrel Appreciation Day, TEST: What’s Your Energy
Type, and an infographic geared towards businesses titled Energy Waste: The Hidden
Costs. Staff will also be posting several public service announcements such as dates of
upcoming commission meetings and holiday business closures.
The Administration Department continues to work on a records management project
which includes getting all contracts and agreements scanned in electronically. In
addition, records coordinators are working through the review process to determine
which files stored in our records center are ready for destruction.
On January 12, 2022, I submitted my letter of resignation and announced my
retirement. My last day of employment will be February 18.
I’m pleased to share that Tony Mauren, our Communications and Administrative
Coordinator, has been promoted to fill the Executive Administrative Manager position.
