DISCUSSION:
Staff has been attending meetings with Sherburne County to plan for the County Road
44 project.
Working with the City of Otsego and a developer on how to bring electric serviceto a
development that is in ERMU’s service area but quite some distance from any existing
power source.
Creating plans and ordering materials and equipment for projects that we know will be
occurring in the next year.

Staff will be working on tearing down the overhead lines along Highway 169 at 197
Avenue, School Street, and Main Street.
Crews are working on phase two of the County Road35 rebuild.
ERMU has hired a new journey lineworker. Alex Paschall’s start date will be February 28.
Ms. Slominski, Mr. Sumstad, Mr. Sagstetter, and I attended the Minnesota Municipal
Utilities Association’s Technical and Operations Conference in St. Cloud, January 18-20.
There was a lot of beneficial information provided and it was nice to have it back in
person.
