Sealed the water meter, installed an encoder receiver transmitter, and took curb stop ties from eightwater services. Completed 15 BACTI/Total Chlorine Residual Samples o All confirmednegative for Coliform Bacteria o Bacteriological/Disinfectant Residual Monthly Report submitted to the MDH Completed 20 routine fluoride samples o All samples met MDH standards o Submitted MDH Fluoride Report Submitted Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR)to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) for the Water Treatment Plants. Submitted DMRto the MPCAfor the Diesel Generation Plant. Terry Bovee has been selected as the consultant to help ERMU staff complete the required amendment to our Well Head Protection Plan. During our routine annual inspections of the iron and manganese filter for well #9 the water operators found that the filter media was low, indicating an issue with backwashing. Filter media will need to be added to replenish what was lost. The effluentvalvepositioning switchatwell #6 water treatment planthas failed and needs to be replaced. Replacement of the switchincluding installationand programing will cost $2,000. Thewater operators have continued to work onthe annual preventative maintenance ofour water treatment plants.
