WORKSHOP MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER PLANNING COMMISSION
HELD AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL
TUESDAY, JULY 16, 1996
Members Present:
Vice Chair Thompson, Commissioners Minton, Sullivan, Tacheny,
Members Absent:
Commissioners Kuester and Anderson
Staff Present:
Steven B. Ach, City Planner; Scott Harlicker, Assistant Planner;
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning
Commission was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Vice Chair Thompson.
THE MOTION WAS MADE AND SECONDED TO ELECT VICE CHAIR THOMPSON AS
CHAIR. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
THE MOTION WAS MADE AND SECONDED TO ELECT COMMISSIONER ANDERSON
AS VICE CHAIR. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
4. The following items were discussed:
1. Ordinance amendment regarding pawnshops
2. Revising the dimensional regulations for the highway commercial zone
3. consider amending the landscape ordinance to include specific
requirements for parking lot landscaping
There being no further business, THE MOTION WAS MADE AND SECONDED TO ADJOURN
THE MEETING. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
The workshop of the Elk River Planning Commission adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
