Approve, byT motion, hiring KyTle Jansen to the position of police officer effective March 28, 2022.
Background/Discussion
With recent resignations we `vent to market to fill police officer positions. We received 17 applications and
interviewed 11 candidates. Following background check and medical and psyTchological tests, we recommend K�Tle
Jansen for the position of police officer.
Mr. Jansen is currentlyT a corrections officer at the Sherburne CountyT Jail and a member of the Air National Guard.
His payT and benefits will be consistent `vith union contract and cityT policyT.
Financial Impact
This is a budgeted position.
