Wednesday, September 14, 2005 the Elk River Police Department along with the Sherburne
County Public Health Department conducted alCQho.l ~~fianc~c~ec~ for the city of Elk
River. The city was in 100% compliance with alcohol sales to a minor. I will send you a

Joan,
Last evening Kim Peterson and Eric Balabon conducted alcohol compliance checks within the
city. They checked 22 on and off sale establishments and all 22 passed!
I'm meeting with Kara Zoller at Sherburne County Public Health next week to discuss the
reporting issue, but in the meantime I thought you'd like to know the results were good. If you
have any questions regarding the checks, please give me a call.
