A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS IN THE MATTER OF THE SCHOOL STREET/HIGH SCHOOL
PARKING LOT SIGNALIZATION IMPROVEMENT OF 2005
WHEREAS it has been determined that signalizing the High School parking lot intersection with School
Street is a priority; and
WHEREAS signalization should provide for a safer transportation environment especially at periods of
peak traffic flow;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota:
1.
Terry Maurer, City Engineer is hereby designated as Project Engineer for this improvement. The
Project Engineer is directed to prepare plans and specifications for the making of the improvement
and the solicitation of competitive bids.
Passed and adopted this 19th day of September, 2005.
