DISCUSSION:
Parker, our IT/OT technician, continues to work with City of Elk River IT staff on various
projects. We are beginning a trial for a cloud based phone system with city staff to plan
for future phone infrastructure.
I assisted with a changeover for the recloser controller feeding the Dayton area during
the week of March 28, which went very well.
Both the IT/OT technician and myself expect to spend some time on evaluation of the
Advanced Metering Infrastructure proposalsand are excited to see them.
Parker will be starting a training course for Certified Information Systems Security
Professional certification. With the importance of information security, it will be a very
valuable certification to obtain.
