A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Amending the
Comprehensive Plan to Change the Land Use from Traditional Single -Family
Residential to Mixed Residential
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure
for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 26, 2022, and
recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the
property described as: Lot 1, Block 1, DICKINSONS ADDITION, Sherburne County,
MN, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request
and finds the following:
1. The current use of the site is consistent with mixed residential uses.
2. The proposed land use is consistent with the surrounding land uses.
3. The use would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding land uses.
4. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted
Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: The Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as
described above from Traditional Single -Family Residential to Mixed Residential.
Passed and adopted this 2"d day of May 2022.
