pertaining to Senior Activity Center Entrance.

Reconsider proposal to utilize Fire Emergency Door as Entrance door in Senior Activity Center. Alternatively,
consider construction of an outside entrance into the Activity Center in that location.
At our December 2, 2021, Commission meeting: Moved by Commissioner Peterson and seconded by
Commissioner Hecker to not approve the request to utilize fire exit door for entry in senior activity center.
Motion carried 7-0.
At this meeting we are being asked to reconsider this decision, Linda Lee, Elk River Resident and Senior Activity
Center Member, will be in attendance to speak to the issue. The minutes of December 2, 2021, Commission
Meeting are included.
Financial Impact
Unknow currently, however Ms. Lee has been in contact with some construction companies regarding the
proposed entrance.
Mission/Policy/Goal
Provide quality service and access to individuals attending the Senior Activity Center.
