We have an alternative proposal for the Elk River Parks Dedication fee. The thought is to provide
park seating for existing and future park projects at wholesale pricing.

Plants and Things / Furniture and Things, Inc. is a family owned and operated business
founded in Anoka, Minnesota as Plants and Things in 1979.
Plants and Things started as a farmer produce market selling produce, outdoor gifts,
accessories, firewood, Christmas trees and antiques. A few years later the company started to
prosper and started selling antiques and oak reproductions. As Plants and Things evolved they
began selling whole home furnishings, creating a sister company Furniture and Things.
Furniture and Things is known throughout the country for its wide variety of Made in America furniture vendors.
With over 11 acres of outdoor furniture Plants and Things has the largest selection of Gazebos, Sheds,
Poly Lumber Patio Furniture, Fountains, and Playhouses in the country! We offer everything that

Here is an example of what could be done. The Picnic tables located at Guardian
Angels Riverview Landing Senior Community, Otsego. These were installed around
the existing umbrella poles.
