ERMU has hired Matt Duitsman asa temporary apprentice lineworker. All poles along Highway 169 have been removed. We are working on wire relocation at th Street intersection and the Highway 10 westbound/Highway 169 northbound the 5 ramp. Staff has attended several construction meetings for upcoming projects this spring/summer. Material orders remainanissue for all departments. Lead times and pricescontinue to grow. Attendedthe Line School Advisory Boardmeeting at the MinnesotaStateCommunity and Technical College in Wadenaon April 20. Attended a Minnesota Municipal Utilities AssociationJob Training and Safety meeting in Marshall, April 26-27, as a member of its committee. On the morning of April 29, a vehicle struck a pole at Highway 10 and Jarvis Street. The City of Elk River Street Department along with MnDOT helped with closing down the highway so crews could lower the line and subsequently raise it again when it was ready to be reinstalled.
