Discussion of motorized vehicles in parks.
Background/Discussion
Commissioner and Woodland Trails Regional Park Steward Dave Anderson requested a discussion regarding the
restriction of motorized vehicles in the parks.
According to the city ordinance, recreational motorized vehicles are not allowed on public lands, except where
otherwise allowed by law. They are classified as any self-propelled vehicle and any vehicle propelled or drawn by a
self-propelled vehicle used for recreational purposes, including, but not limited to, snowmobiles, trail bikes or
other all-terrain vehicles.
