Approve, by motion, a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License to the City of Elk River for Elk RiverFest scheduled
for July 30, 2022, with the condition alcohol must be confined to an area enclosed by a fence with a secured,
controlled access. Wrist band control is required for patrons 21 and over.
Background/Discussion
The Parks and Recreation Department submitted application for a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License for
Elk RiverFest scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2022.
The beer garden will be open from 5 – 9 p.m. on Main Street between Jackson Ave and King Ave and in
the city parking area behind Sunshine Depot to the Occasional Fling. Both areas will have the required fencing and
will be restricted to ages 21 and over.
