Background/Discussion
Pursuant to the Open Meeting La`v, MN Statute �13D.05, the Cit�T Council conducted a closed meeting on Monda�T,
June 6, 2022, to evaluate the performance of CityT Administrator Cal Pormer.
The law requires the CityT Council, at the next open meeting, to summarize the evaluation. Mayor Dietz will be
providing the summaryT.

Summary of City Administrator's Performance Evaluation
The Elk River City Council conducted a performance review of City
Administrator Cal Portner on June 6, 2022.
Each council member and each of Cal's direct reports rated Cal on a series of
different categories.
The City Council in general was pleased with Cal's performance and feel
there has been improvement in some areas that were questioned in the last
review.
Overall the council gave Cal an "Exceeds expectations" rating.
