Background/Discussion
The Beautification Committee has generated and posted marketing material for the Beautification Award
in the past. 2022 marketing material should be discussed, and direction should be given to staff on what
and when material should be distributed.
With the 2022 Beautification Award season in effect, staff and committee should discuss ways to generate
interest and applications.

improvements, and enhance the image and
economic vitality for the City of Elk River.
who qualifies for the award?
Properties must be located within the City of
Elk River corporate limits.
Projects may include improvements to the
interior or exterior of the business.
For new construction, a certificate of
occupancy must have been issued.
