A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging A
Donation
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is gratefixl to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a donation in the amount of $1,177 with the
intent it be used by the Environmental Department for shredding fees associated with the
Spring Clean -Up day.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Republic Services for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Wagner and duly seconded by Councilmember Westgaard, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:. Ma�-or Dietz, Councilmembers Better,
Christianson, Wagner, and Wesigaard and the following against: none, whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Manor Dietz, Councilmembers Bever, Christianson,
WaWier, and Westgaard and the following absent: none.
