Employee Appreciation Lunch
ACTION REQUESTED:
Determine location and date for annual Employee Appreciation Lunch.
BACKGROUND:
For the past several years, the Commission has provided an annual Employee Appreciation
Lunch which has been held in the utility office lunchroom. Last year's event was held August 10,
2021, the date of the August 2021 commission meeting.
DISCUSSION:
With the completion of our new field services building approaching, it was thought that this
year's Employee Appreciation Lunch could be held in the new facility. It has been pretty tight in
the utility office lunchroom, and we have had to utilize the office production room to stage the
food in order to accommodate everyone. The new facility should provide enough room to have
everything in one spot, however, the completion date for the new building is not finalized and
certainly will not be ready for an August 2022 event. If the Commission is willing to postpone
the event until at least October, we should be able to hold this event in the new facility. The
future commission meeting dates are October 11, November 8(this is during deer hunting
season), and December 13.
The commission should determine the location and date for the annual Employee Appreciation
Lunch.
