DISCUSSION:
• Received our 2022-2023 workers’ compensation coverage renewal quote. Our
experience modification factor came in at .69, which is the same as last year. Estimated
premiums will be $60,376, which is very comparable to last year.
• Accounting and human resource departments are researching implementation of
National Information Solutions Cooperative’s (NISC) iVUE Connect Financials - Human
Resource personas. This will replace the current Employee Self Serve (ESS) application,
which is being retired on December 31, 2023. The new platform comes with additional
functionality and enhancements.
• Work continues on compiling 2023 budget information.
• I will be attending NISC’s Member Information Conference, September 26-29 in
Nashville, TN. I am looking forward to attending some classes on Document
Management (Vault) and Business Intelligence & Reporting (Mosaic).
• I attended the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association’s Summer Conference for the
first time. This was a great opportunity to network and gain some additional industry
knowledge. I want to thank the Commission for providing me with this opportunity.
