DISCUSSION:
• Office walk-in traffic for August consisted of 109 customers, averaging 22 customers per
week over the five-week period.
• ERMU disconnects for August – as of September 7– consisted of:
o Cycle 2 – 7 disconnects and 1 red tag (medical)
o Cycle 3 – 20 disconnects
o Cycle 4 – 9 disconnects
o Cycle 1 – 25 disconnects
o Cycle 2 – 13 disconnects
• Three residential homes remain disconnected from August.
• HydroCorp mailed final notices to the 39 residents who have not scheduled their free
backflow prevention test, residents have until September 16 to avoid potential
disconnection of water service or fine.
• The August Clean Energy Choice campaign saw 14 customers added with 1 customer
upgrading from 75% to 100%.
o 100% Clean Energy - 10
o 75% Clean Energy - 2
o 50% Clean Energy – 3
• Minnesota Department of Commerce Energy Assistance Program (EAP) notified utilities
that due to the availability of funding they were sending them a file of households
approved for the EAP program this year. The utilities needed to complete and send back
the file with the approved households past due balances. Payments for the household
arrears paydown will start the week of September 13, 2022.

• The first cycle of assessment letters will be mailed the week of September 2.
Subsequent cycle letters will be mailed in the following weeks with a deadline of the
beginning of November. Our credit & collections specialist puts a lot of time into
researching property owners to ensure adequate notice is given.
• The customer service manager and a customer service representative (along with others
within the company) will be traveling to the National Information Solutions Cooperative
Member Information Conference in Nashville, TN the week of September 26.
