DISCUSSION:
Bi-annual bond payments due August 3, totaling $512,258, have been paid. The bonds
ERMU holds are: a water bond that will mature in 2022; a refunding of electric bonds
that will mature in 2022; the bonds from 2016 and 2018 for our Minnesota Municipal
Power Agency (MMPA) buy-in maturing in 2036and2048, respectively;anda share in
the bond with the City for our office buildings that will mature in 2023.
Theresa and I metvia Zoom with our auditors from AdboEick & Meyersfor our annual
listening call, during which we discuss how the past audit went and any needs that we
may have in the coming year.
National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) has scheduled a WebEx meeting on
August 6 to discuss the list of Enhanced Divisionalized Accounting (EDA) and Non-EDA
concerns/requests we provided them back in June.
The Accounting Department is ready to start testing the Accounts Payable Workflow in
NISC’s Accounting and Business Solutions software. We are planning on going live with
