Adopt, byT motion, the Resolution approving OLID Resolution 22-01 2023 OLID Annual Service and Activities
Charge Request.
Background/Discussion
In accordance with the Order Establishing Orono Lake Improvement District, the CityT Council shall review the
OLID budget annually after the Annual Meeting is held in the fall of each year.
The OLID Proposed 2023 Budget was submitted byT the Board of Directors on September 6, 2022. This includes
the OLID rinnual Budget for Projects/Activities for various pYojects with a total cost of $17,100. OLID propertyr
owner annual cost for 2023 is $100 per unit for these activities.
The OLID Board submitted Resolution 22-01 certifying the annual services and activities charge request.

Resolution 22-
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Approving the Orono Lake
Improvement District Annual Budget for the Year 2023
WHEREAS, in accordance «�ith the Order Establishing the Orono Lake Improvement
District (OLID), the Cit�= of Elk River (Cit�=) shall review the OLID budget annuall�=
follo�ving the Annual Meeting which is held in July= or August each �=ear; and
WHEREAS, as referenced in the OLID Resolution 22-01, OLID Board of Directors has
provided proper notice, met, and certified the assessment roll for the 2023 OLID services
and activities charge; and
WHEREAS, OLID Board of Directors has requested, pursuant to Minnesota Statues,
Section 103B.SSS, that the City impose a service charge on all eligible parcels within the
OLID as per the 2023 Service Charge List in the amount of $100.00 per full unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, as follows: That the Orono Lake Improvement District Annual Budget and
service charge for the year 2023 is approved.
