Designating September 17-23, 2022, as
Constitution Week
WHEREAS, September 17, 2022, marks the two hundred thirtyT-fifth anniversaryT of the drafting
of the Constitution of the United States of r�merica b�T the Constitutional Convention; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to accord official recognition of this magnificent document
and its memorable anniversary; and to the patriotic celebrations `vhich will commemorate the
occasion; and
WHEREAS, Public Law 915 guarantees the issuing of a proclamation each yTear b�T the President
of the United States of America designating September 17 through 23 as Constitution Week,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I, John J. Dietz, i�layTor of Elk River, do
hereby proclaim the week of SeptembeY 17 thYough 23, 2022, as Constitution Week.
