Adopt, by motion, a resolution accepting donations for the City of Elk River Farmers Market.
Background/Discussion
The City of Elk River Farmers Market received the following sponsorships for the 2022 season. The intent of the
sponsorships is for market operations and special programs.
T-Mobile $3,500
State Farm, Kevin Gleitz $2,500
Vision Transportation $1,500
Elk River Senior Living $1,000
Guardian Angels $1,000
Kemper Drug and Gifts $500
Health Partners $500
Three Rivers Orthodontics $500
Financial Impact
$11,000 is the total amount of the sponsorship donations.

A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the amount of $11,000 from
businesses supporting the annual Elk River Farmers Market with the intent it be used by
Parks and Recreation Department for the Farmers Market. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the patrons listed in Exhibit A for their
donations.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
___________ and duly seconded by Councilmember ______________, and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
